ST MARKS ROAD

The name of this road comes from Saint Mark’s Cathedral which is named after the first gospel writer Saint Mark. This road lies at the end of the Mahatma Gandhi Road and is one of the religious spots of the city. Apart from the church, the other important offices in the Saint Mark’s Road are the Consulate General of Germany and the Central Business District office. This place is also imminent because it lies adjacent to the MG Road which is both the costliest and the busiest roads in the city. The road is hence well communicated by the both public and private conveyance.
