How Did Sector 16C Greater Noida West End Up With a Noida Pin Code

Sector 16C Greater Noida West uses pin code 201309, the code of Sector 62 Noida S.O, which delivers across the boundary into the Gaur City 2 side. Gaurs International School at Plot GH-03 and Gaur City 7th Avenue both print it. Listings showing 201318 or 201009 are strays. No other sector in the township shares 201309.

Office Role Pincode
Sector 62 Noida S.O Delivery office and counter office 201309
Chhajarsi B.O Branch office, non-delivery 201309
Noida Head Post Office Head office 201301

Postal beats ignore the line between Noida and Greater Noida West. Sector 16C, the Gaur City 2 side of the township, is walked from Sector 62 Noida S.O, so its code is a Noida one, 201309. Two addresses confirm it: the CBSE record for Gaurs International School at Gaur City-II, Plot GH-03, and the Gaur City 7th Avenue listings. With portal consensus behind them the row rates as medium confidence.

No other sector in Greater Noida West sits on 201309, which is unusual for the township and useful. A courier reading the code knows the parcel is for Sector 16C before reading any further.

The two strays

A Mahagun Mywoods listing shows 201318. That is the code of the newly opened Sector 1 Greater Noida S.O; the office is real and its code is valid, but most institutions on this side still print the older code and the beat for 16C remains with Sector 62. The Gaur City 1 side of the road shows 201009, a Ghaziabad code, and it has drifted onto a few 16C listings by proximity. Write 201309.

Residential format: Flat number, Tower, Gaur City 2, Sector 16C, Greater Noida West, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh 201309. That is what banks match for KYC and what e-commerce checkouts use to pick the Noida delivery hub.

Chhajarsi B.O is a branch office on the code but does not deliver. Speed Post, Registered Post and Aadhaar updates go through the Sector 62 Noida S.O counter.

Administratively, Sector 62 Noida S.O reports to Noida Head Post Office (201301), the Gautam Buddha Nagar division, the Lucknow HQ region and the Uttar Pradesh circle. The leading 2 is the northern zone, 20 is Uttar Pradesh, 201 is the Ghaziabad sorting district, which also serves Gautam Buddha Nagar, and 309 is the Sector 62 delivery office.

Where Is Sector 16C Greater Noida West on the Ghaziabad Edge

Sector 16C is a group-housing sector of Greater Noida West, administered by GNIDA in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. It occupies the Gaur City 2 pocket of the Greater Noida West belt, close to Shahberi village and Crossings Republik on the Ghaziabad side. NH-24, now NH-9, is about 3 km away.

Greater Noida West ends somewhere near here, and Ghaziabad begins. Shahberi village, listed 1.12 km from Sector 16C, is described as "situated near Noida Extension and Crossings Republik," on the Ghaziabad side. Crossing Republik Road is also named for access to Gaur City 2.

No published plan draws the district line, but the names around the sector all belong to its Ghaziabad-facing side.

Sector 16C at a glance

Authority and district: GNIDA, Gautam Buddha Nagar Belt: Greater Noida West belt (Noida Extension), group-housing pocket Landmark inside: Gaur City 2 township, listed at 0 km Nearby, per listings: Gaur City 1 at 0.6 km, Sector 4 at 1.08 km, Shahberi village at 1.12 km, Yusufpur village at 1.27 km Roads named: Greater Noida West Link Road (2.5 km from one project), NH-24 (NH-9) at 3 km, Crossing Republik Road Village abadi inside: none known

Gaur City 2 is the sector. Listings place the township at 0.00 km, the sector's informal name is "Gaur City-2 area," and a developer blog describes a layout of "wide internal roads, parks."

Gaur City 1 lies 0.6 km away and Sector 4 at 1.08 km. The two Gaur townships are the easiest way to describe this corner of the belt: adjacent pockets, listed alongside each other, with no boundary statement between them.

Roads and the highway edge

NH-24 at 3 km is the sector's stated distance to the highway. The Greater Noida West Link Road is 2.5 km from one project, which puts 16C a little off the arterial rather than on it. Crossing Republik Road is the third named road, and it points toward Ghaziabad.

An encyclopedia entry lists 16C among the Greater Noida West sectors reached by the road from Noida Sector 121 across the Hindon.

Two villages frame the pocket in listings: Shahberi, on the Crossings Republik side, and Yusufpur. Neither has a stated direction, and neither is described as a boundary.

The Gaur City 2 placement holds steady across sources, and the township is a fixed landmark. The position on the Ghaziabad border is an inference from Shahberi and Crossings Republik, not something an authority document states.

Is Sector 16C Greater Noida West a Planned Sector or an Urban Village

Sector 16C Greater Noida West is a planned GNIDA sector, not an urban village. It holds Gaur City 2, a group housing township of high-rise avenues such as 14th Avenue and 16th Avenue, laid out with wide internal roads and parks, and no village abadi is tied to it.

The question matters because planned and unplanned land both exist in Greater Noida West. Shahberi, one of the township's 16 villages, is a notified area where officials say no construction is allowed without authority approval, and a building collapse there in 2018 killed nine people. Sector 16C is the opposite case: authority-planned land built out by a licensed developer.

  Sector 16C Shahberi
Land status GNIDA planned sector Notified village area
Who builds Licensed developer township Construction needs authority approval
Known record NGT case by residents 2019 IIT Delhi audit of 426 buildings; 80+ FIRs

This guide classes 16C as residential group housing under GNIDA, and the alternate name "Gaur City-2 area" says most of what a reader needs. Gaur City 2 is the second phase of the Gaursons township, organized as numbered avenues of apartment towers.

A developer's overview describes wide internal roads and parks. The stock runs from mid-rise blocks to premium flats, with both ready and under-construction units on offer, which shows a sector that is occupied while still adding homes.

The residents of 16th Avenue have formed an association, and it has taken GNIDA to the National Green Tribunal in case OA 100/2024. A legal dispute of that kind is clear evidence of an occupied, organized society.

No source ties a named village abadi to 16C. Buyers who search "Lal Dora" for this part of Noida Extension are usually thinking of village abadi such as Shahberi, which lies outside the planned township blocks.

The township's presence is confirmed by listings, a developer overview and the tribunal case, though the authority has not described the 16C boundary itself. The planned, high-rise character is not in doubt.

Which Police Station Covers Sector 16C Greater Noida West, and How Secure Do Its Towers Feel

Sector 16C is the Gaur City 2 township, a block of gated high-rises arranged in avenues with active ground-floor shops. A police press release from October 2025 places it under the Bisrakh police station, and no pattern of crime tied to the sector has been reported.

The short answer to the first question is Bisrakh. A police press release dated October 9, 2025, places a location in Sector 16C under that station, consistent with other releases that show Bisrakh handling cases from the neighboring phases of Gaur City.

Gaur City 2 is organized into named avenues, among them 14th Avenue and 16th Avenue, each a group of high-rise towers inside a boundary with its own entry. For residents, that means two layers of control, the township's gates and the tower lobbies, with most movement on foot happening inside the complex.

In June 2023 police opened a pink booth, a post set up for women's complaints, at a housing society near the Gaur City intersection. The report did not give the sector, so the booth may sit just outside 16C, but it is close enough to matter for anyone walking from the intersection at night.

District-level performance offers some context. The Gautam Buddh Nagar commissionerate ranked first among Uttar Pradesh's police commissionerates on the state's CM Darpan dashboard for February 2026, with strong grades for emergency response. That is a district measure and says nothing specific about this sector.

Crowd size is the main watch-out. Gaur City as a whole houses about 25,000 families, so delivery traffic, visitors and domestic staff move through its gates all day, and visitor checks at tower level matter as much as the outer gate. No waterlogging or lighting complaints tied to the sector were found.

Ask the township's maintenance office how visitors are verified at tower level, and check whether the walk from Gaur Chowk to your avenue stays lit after shops close.

Police coverage is firmly sourced; the rest of the picture comes from the township's layout and the absence of reports.

June 2023 Pink police booth opened near the Gaur City intersection (sector not stated)
October 2025 Police press release places a Sector 16C location under the Bisrakh station

What Is the Closest Metro Stop to Sector 16C Greater Noida West

Noida Sector 62 on the DMRC Blue Line is the likely closest metro stop to Sector 16C Greater Noida West. No figure exists for 16C itself; from Gaur City Mall in neighboring Sector 4, a metro-locator site gives about 5.8 km. A station planned at Gaur Chowk awaits Union Cabinet approval.

Sector 16C, home to Gaur City 2, borrows its numbers from next door. It adjoins Sector 4 and Gaur City 1, so the Sector 4 distances act as a proxy. A metro-locator site measures Noida Sector 62 at about 5.8 km and Noida Electronic City at about 6 km from Gaur City Mall. Those are starting points for 16C, not measurements of it.

Both stations are on the Blue Line extension that DMRC opened in March 2019. Electronic City is the terminus and has parking; Noida Sector 62 is the stop before it. Farther along toward Delhi, Noida Sector 52 is where riders change to the NMRC Aqua Line at Noida Sector 51.

A published map coordinate for 16C matches the one given for 16B exactly, so it cannot be trusted and has not been used.

Quick read:

  • No operational station sits inside 16C.
  • Noida Sector 62 on the Blue Line (DMRC) is the likely nearest stop.
  • The only distance is a proxy: about 5.8 km from Gaur City Mall in Sector 4.
  • A Gaur Chowk station on the Aqua Line extension awaits Union Cabinet approval.
  • A Sector 16C metro stop is proposed on the Ghaziabad-Jewar corridor, not approved.

The closest planned stop is Greater Noida West Sector 4 at Gaur Chowk, the terminus of an 8.4 km Aqua Line extension from Noida Sector 61. The Public Investment Board cleared it on July 22, 2026. Union Cabinet approval was still awaited as of Sept. 24, 2026, and construction would take about four years after it begins. NCRTC's unapproved Ghaziabad to Jewar Namo Bharat plan also lists a Greater Noida Sector 16C metro stop.

A news report found shared autos from Greater Noida West to Sector 52 at about Rs 40 one way and private autos at Rs 150 to 200.

Which Highway Lies Nearest to Sector 16C Greater Noida West

NH-9, still labeled NH-24 in many listings, is the nearest highway to Sector 16C Greater Noida West, about 3 km from one project in the Gaur City 2 area. Ghaziabad Junction sits about 3.6 km away in a straight line, and Anand Vihar Terminal about 11.2 km.

NH-9 is the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. Its 8.7 km Delhi stretch from Nizamuddin to the Uttar Pradesh border opened as a 14-lane road in May 2018, and the stretch from the border to Dasna followed in April 2021. Tolls are distance-based and collected at exit, and the Kashi toll plaza went cashless in April 2022.

Inside the area, Crossing Republik Road is the access listings name for Gaur City 2, and one project gives about 2.5 km to the Greater Noida West Link Road. The sector sits about 0.6 km from Gaur City 1 by a listing site's count, close to the Gaur City junction a September 2025 news report calls Gaur Chowk, where peak-hour queues stretched several kilometers while an underpass was built.

An elevated road from Ek Murti Chowk through Shahberi and Crossings Republik to NH-9, approved by GNIDA's board in March 2025, remained at the design stage in later reports.

From Sector 16C Greater Noida West to:

  • NH-9: about 3 km from one project (listing)
  • Greater Noida West Link Road: about 2.5 km from one project (listing)
  • Ghaziabad Junction: about 3.6 km, straight-line
  • Anand Vihar Terminal: about 11.2 km, straight-line
  • Hindon Airport: about 12.5 km, straight-line
  • IGI Terminal 1: about 30.0 km, straight-line
  • Noida International Airport: about 53.1 km, straight-line

A listing site's locality snapshot flags a lack of developed public transport while praising easy access to the railway station. In straight-line terms that rail advantage holds: Ghaziabad Junction is far closer than any Delhi terminal, with Hazrat Nizamuddin about 16.9 km and New Delhi station about 20.1 km away.

Hindon Airport, about 12.5 km as the crow flies, is the nearest airfield but takes no night landings. IGI Terminal 1 is about 30.0 km away and Noida International Airport about 53.1 km.

Highway and rail proximity is well supported. Gaur Chowk's role for 16C is inferred from the sector's position next to Gaur City 1; no source states it for this sector.

What Lies Inside Sector 16C Greater Noida West

The second half of the Gaur City township occupies much of Sector 16C Greater Noida West, with its 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th Avenue clusters. Mahagun Mywoods, a 31-tower society that received its occupancy certificate in 2023, is the other large name.

Gaur City 2 is ready to move. The 14th Avenue cluster alone covers 15.77 acres with 30-story towers. Gaur City and Gaur City 2 together span about 237 acres and more than 9,000 units, a combined figure from 2014 that is not split by sector. Gaursons is also building Gaur 14th Avenue High Street, a commercial project listed as under construction.

Mahagun (India) Pvt Ltd completed Mahagun Mywoods on Sept. 28, 2023, and the project holds its occupancy certificate under UP RERA registration UPRERAPRJ3330, with 31 towers in its project details. Mahagun Mywoods II and III and Mahagun Maverick are under construction on listing sites.

Sam India's Sam Palm Olympia runs in three phases: Phase I is ready, and possession for Phase III is listed for April 2028. Listing sites also mark Town Park White Orchid, Casa Woodstock by Uppal, Bulland Elevates and Radicon Vedantam as ready.

Further names tagged to the sector include VVIP Homes in Gaur City 2, JNC The Park, Exotica Dreamville, Geotech Pristine Avenue, Aarcity Regency Park, Addela Raj Residency and Divyansh Flora. Some of these may be smaller builder-floor schemes.

Name Developer Status
Gaur City 2 Gaursons Ready
Gaur 14th Avenue High Street Gaurs Under construction (commercial)
Mahagun Mywoods Mahagun Completed September 2023, OC received
Mahagun Mywoods II and III Mahagun Under construction
Mahagun Maverick Mahagun Under construction
Sam Palm Olympia Sam India Phase I ready; Phase III April 2028
Casa Woodstock Uppal Ready
Town Park White Orchid Town Park Ready

The two anchors are documented through registration and township figures; the long tail rests on listing-site tags.

Where Do Children in Sector 16C Greater Noida West Go to School

Gaurs International School, a CBSE school in Gaur City 2, sits about 0.3 km from the center of Sector 16C Greater Noida West. On the medical side, a health directory places the 220-bed Sarvodaya Hospital in Sector 16C, while Fortis Hospital Noida is the nearest major hospital with a measured distance, 4.9 km straight-line.

Sector 16C covers the Gaur City 2 avenues, and its main school sits within the township. Gaurs International School, at Plot GH-03, Gaur City 2, opened in 2015 and is affiliated with CBSE. A listing site and a straight-line measure both put it about 0.3 km from the sector's center.

Beyond the township, Lotus Valley International School, Noida Extension, is 2.9 km as the crow flies and Ryan International School, Noida Extension, is 3.3 km. Both are CBSE schools. No other school appears on listings for 16C.

For hospitals, the picture is less tidy. A health directory gives Sarvodaya Hospital's address as Plot 2, GH-03 Pocket, Sector 16C, Gaur City 2, which would place it inside the sector; the hospital's own site says only Greater Noida West. The hospital states 220 beds, 50 of them ICU, six operating theaters and 24-hour emergency care, while the directory lists 100 beds.

Straight-line distances to other major hospitals start at 4.9 km for Fortis Hospital Noida, with more than 400 beds and NABH accreditation. Kailash Hospital and Neuro Institute in Sector 71 is 5.1 km and Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Noida Extension, is 5.3 km. LYF Hospital is listed in neighboring Gaur City 1. The nearest government hospital in the set, ESIC Model Hospital in Sector 24, is 8 km away and serves insured workers.

Schools Hospitals
Gaurs International School, Gaur City 2, CBSE, about 0.3 km Sarvodaya Hospital, listed in Sector 16C, 220 beds, 24-hour emergency
Lotus Valley International School, Noida Extension, CBSE, 2.9 km straight-line Fortis Hospital Noida, Sector 62, 4.9 km straight-line
Ryan International School, Noida Extension, CBSE, 3.3 km straight-line Kailash Hospital and Neuro Institute, Sector 71, 5.1 km straight-line
No government school published ESIC Model Hospital, Sector 24, government, 8 km straight-line

Schooling is clear; the hospital address inside the sector rests on a single directory entry.

Is Gaur City Arcade the Local Market for Sector 16C Greater Noida West

Sector 16C takes in several Gaur City 2 avenues along with Casa Woodstock, Exotica Dreamville, Mahagun Mywoods II and JKG Palm Court, and the township's own markets are on its doorstep. Gaur City Arcade is a 2.37-acre shopping block open on two sides along the 45 m road, with boutiques, chemists, clothing stores and food outlets. It is 0.2 km away in a straight line.

The Gaur City 2, 14th Avenue market, an avenue of shops and services inside the township, is 0.4 km away as the crow flies, and the Gaur City 1, 4th Avenue shops are 0.6 km away.

A property listing site places Mahagun Mart about 0.1 km from the sector and City Plaza about 0.5 km. Union Bank of India is about 0.4 km away and HDFC Bank about 0.6 km. Chemists in Gaur City Arcade cover pharmacy needs.

The bigger malls at Gaur Chowk, Gaur City Mall and Gaur City Centre, lie beside Gaur City 1, though no distance from 16C has been published. Farther out, Spectrum Metro in Noida is 6.8 km straight-line and Bhutani City Center 32 is 8.4 km.

Where Do Rents Sit in Sector 16C Greater Noida West

A fully furnished 1 RK in Town Park White Orchid asked Rs 15,000 plus Rs 1,300 maintenance in mid-October 2026, the smallest home listed in Sector 16C Greater Noida West. Across 844 listings on a property portal page updated Oct. 9, 2026, apartments averaged Rs 19 per sq ft a month.

The Oct. 9 page showed 1 BHK flats in Gaur City 2 14th Avenue at Rs 17,000 to Rs 22,000 a month, 2 BHK at Rs 18,000 to Rs 27,000 across seven cards, 2.5 BHK in 12th Avenue at Rs 26,000 to Rs 28,000 and 3 BHK at Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 across eleven.

A rental portal's Gaur City 2 page, read in mid-October 2026, used only cards clearly in Sector 16C. It put two 1 BHK flats in 14th Avenue at Rs 16,500 and Rs 22,000 plus Rs 4,000, about eight 2 BHK flats, mostly semi-furnished, at Rs 16,500 to Rs 24,000, and about eight 3 BHK flats at Rs 14,000 to Rs 35,000.

Mahagun Mywoods has the deepest society page, updated Aug. 24, 2026. Its 3 BHK cards ran Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 a month out of 81 listings, against a page-wide range of Rs 16,000 to Rs 40,000. What Is a Typical Asking Price in Sector 16C Greater Noida West

Apartment asks in Sector 16C Greater Noida West have barely shifted over the past year: one property portal put the average at Rs 8,500 per sq ft in its September 2026 data, after Rs 8,450 in both December 2025 and March 2026.

By stage, the same portal's September 2026 data show ready-to-move projects at Rs 8,183 per sq ft across 24 projects and under-construction projects at Rs 9,100 across seven. Villas averaged Rs 7,700 per sq ft.

The Sam Palm Olympia phases lead society asks, with Phase III at Rs 11,500 per sq ft. Gaur City 2 12th Avenue is quoted only as a whole-unit range, Rs 34.81 lakh to Rs 43.56 lakh.

Society Ask Basis
Sam Palm Olympia Phase III Rs 11,500 per sq ft September 2026
Sam Palm Olympia Phase II Rs 9,750 per sq ft September 2026
Sam Palm Olympia Rs 9,550 per sq ft September 2026
Exotica Dreamville Rs 9,250 per sq ft September 2026
Gaur 14th Avenue High Street Rs 8,800 per sq ft September 2026
Mahagun Mywoods Rs 8,750 per sq ft September 2026
JKG Palm Court Rs 8,650 per sq ft September 2026
Gaur City 2 16th Avenue Rs 8,650 per sq ft September 2026
Gaur City 2 12th Avenue Rs 34.81 lakh to Rs 43.56 lakh per unit September 2026

A second portal's 2026 page, seen Oct. 15, 2026, sets the all-residential header average at Rs 8,663 per sq ft over 412 properties, with an FAQ on the same page giving Rs 9,761. Its header range runs from Rs 736 to Rs 13,850 per sq ft; a floor that low suggests the sample mixes property types. The header shows a 2.72 percent rise year on year, the FAQ 3.26 percent.

Sobha's August 2026 guide gives about Rs 13,300 per sq ft, but only for Noida Extension as a whole. It is a figure for the wider area and does not describe Sector 16C by itself.

Official circle rates, from the district list notified Aug. 8, 2019, and effective Aug. 1, 2019, are Rs 26,000 per sq m for residential plots, Rs 26,000 per sq m of covered area for group housing flats and Rs 44,250 per sq m for commercial plots.

How firm the figures are: two portals with 2026 data plus one area-wide guide; the portals agree closely on the apartment level.

Does Sector 16C Greater Noida West Work for Young Couples

It does for couples who drive and want a small, ready flat in a large township: Gaur City 2's avenues in Sector 16C Greater Noida West carry plenty of 1 BHK and 2 BHK rentals. Couples who rely on buses or the metro will find public transport the weak link.

Young couples starting out are the clearest fit. A listing site in October 2026 showed 1 BHK flats in Gaur City 2's 14th Avenue from Rs 17,000 to Rs 22,000 a month, a rare size in an area dominated by larger units.

Families moving up are the second group. Mahagun Mywoods has received its occupancy certificate, Town Park White Orchid and Sam Palm Olympia Phase I are ready, and 2 BHK and 2.5 BHK flats are listed across Gaur City 2's 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th Avenues.

Shopkeepers wanting ready footfall are a third profile. A shop in 14th Avenue was listed for lease in October 2026, and Gaur 14th Avenue High Street is under construction nearby.

Buyers willing to wait can consider Mahagun Mywoods II and III, Mahagun Maverick or Sam Palm Olympia Phase III, which a listing site shows with an April 2028 date.

Look elsewhere if you have no car. A property portal's own local review lists a lack of developed public transport as a concern, and the sector sits next to Gaur Chowk, where peak-hour queues have stretched for kilometers while the underpass is built. Hospital access is also a drive: Fortis Hospital Noida is about 4.9 km straight-line.

Couple renting a first home : Good fit. Small 1 BHK stock in 14th Avenue.

Growing family : Good fit. Ready 2 and 2.5 BHK across the township.

Retailer : Fair fit. Shops listed, high street under construction.

Car-free commuter : Look elsewhere. Thin public transport.

Bottom line: a practical first home for couples with a car; transit-dependent households should wait for better links.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Gaur City 2 in Sector 16C get Ganga water?

Not as of March 2025, when GNIDA listed Sector 16C among six sectors still awaiting Ganga water, alongside Eta 2, Techzone (Mursafabad), Xu 3, Sector 2 and Sector 4. At that point Ganga water reached 52 of 58 sectors. Ask your society's maintenance office whether supply is still groundwater-based and whether GNIDA has given a connection date.

Has Galaxy Royale in Gaur City 2 had water-supply problems?

It has, at least once. In August 2023 Galaxy Royale went four days without regular supply after pipeline damage, and residents blocked the road and bought water from private tankers. The builder said then that GNIDA had taken over the repair and that the society lacked an OC, a CC and an AOA. Residents linked the missing Ganga water to builder dues owed to GNIDA. Ask GNIDA whether an OC has since been issued.

Where will the nearest approved metro station be for Sector 16C?

At Gaur Chowk in Greater Noida West Sector 4, the terminal of the 8.4 km corridor from Noida Sector 61 that the Public Investment Board cleared on July 22, 2026. Union Cabinet approval was expected in September 2026, after which tendering starts. Construction is projected at four years once work begins, so no opening year is set.
