B T ROAD

BT Road is also known as the Barrackpore Trunk Road and it is a four lane highway which connects Shyambazaar with Barrackpore. This is almost a parallel road which connects a number of towns like Konnagar, Khardah, Bally, Uttarpara, Sodepur etc. The road starts from the five crossing point at Shyambazar and ends in Barrackpore. SHyambazar is a part of Kolkata which falls on the Kolkata metro line and Barrackpore is a suburb which is located pretty far from Kolkata. The construction of BT ROad has made it easier for people commuting from the suburbs to have an access to the main city.
