Also known as Tanaji Malusare path, Sinhagad road connects Anandnagar with Swargate, Vadgaon Phata, Dhayri Phata, Manikbagh and Nanded City. Sinhagad road goes straight to the Sinhagad Fort at village Donje and till the Atkarwadi village.
It is known as was one of the congested roads of this city due to large populations from the old Peth and Gaothan areas to newly constructed flats and apartments on the way to the fort, which was at a time cheaper than the costs in Pune City. It is a densely populated neighborhood with Ganeshmala, Panmala, Anand Nagar, Vadgaon, Dhayri and Khadakwasla being the specific localities. One can also find some of the good hospitals such as Shaswat Hospital and Sai Hospital as well as SKN hospital in the vicinity of this area. With its proximity to ATMs, shopping complexes, recreational clubs, and other convenience, this location remains undisputed.
