An Overview
Located in the western part of Bangalore, Kamakshipalya is a neighborhood of the city. It is a residential area, located beside Magadi Road. The area is surrounded by Nagarbhavi, Basaveshwara Nagar, Vijay Nagar and Outer Ring Road (OOR) to its west. Being a residential area, it has the heaviest traffic point in the city. It is marked as a black spot along with other 9 points by the Traffic Control Department of Bangalore. The reason behind it is the huge number of deaths and traffic accidents which take place in this area.
