RT NAGAR

Rabindranath Tagore Nagar which is popularly known as RT Nagar is located in the north part of the city. The name is given in the name of the famous person Rabindranath Tagore. This part is divided into two blocks. One part is Block I and another part Block II. This was earlier surrounded by villages, and then gets properly developed by BDA or Bangalore Development Authority. Now, there are many other areas like Ganganagar, Sultan Palya, MLA Layout, Dinnur, Manoranpalya, Kanakanagar etc. A lot of educational institutes are available here. Trillium Public School, Kamala College of Nursing, Sanjay Gandhi College, Florence Public School and many other colleges. There are many commercial hubs are also available here.
