V V PURAM

V.V Puram is a food street in the Vishweshwarapura area of Basavanagudi in Bangalore. This street is located near the Sajjan Rao Circle and has more than 25 food stalls situated in here. With less than 180 m serving distance, the street has a variety of South Indian, Chinese, North Indian, Sweets and Pani-puri stalls. V.V Puram is also known as Thindi Beedi and Khau Gali in Kannada and Hindi languages respectively. Most of the Bangaloreans gather here for an evening feast, which makes the street crowded after 6 pm. Avarekai Mela is a festival of beans hosted by the food street every year in the month of December or January.
