An Overview
Whitefield Road is a street in the Whitefield area of Bangalore City in Karnataka, India. The locality was established sometime in-between 1850 to 1890. It was a settlement for the Anglo Indians and Eurasians. The Whitefield Road is the busiest road in this locality. After the city became the IT hub of India, this area started becoming congested. The road has a number of retail stores, restaurants, offices and some stalls of fruit vendors and fast food stations. The Sathya Sai Baba Ashram, also known as the Brindavan is located near this road. A good number of MNC’s have their branches in here.
