Alappakkam, Chennai

Alapakkam is a neighborhood in the western part of Chennai which is surrounded by localities like Porur, Valasaravakkam, Maduravoyal etc. Alapakkam is a part of the Chennai Corporation and this city has two access points which are Arcot Road and Poovirundhavalli High Road. There are a number of local buses operating in this locality which connects it to the neighboring ones and to the major landmarks of the city. The two famous temples are Nataraja Temple and Valliserapaleeshwarar Temple. Some of the streets are Perumal Koil Street, Krishna Nagar, Sundar Nagar, Ayyavu Naicker Street etc. There are a number of schools in this area too.
