Crest Urban Living, Vensco Group in JDA for Crest Golfshire in Chembur

Crest Ventures Limited, through its subsidiary Crest Urban Living, has entered into a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with the Vensco Group for the development of a luxury residential project named Crest Golfshire in Chembur, Mumbai. This collaboration marks a significant step in Crest Ventures’ strategy to expand its premium real estate portfolio in high-value micro-markets of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The project is located opposite the Bombay Presidency Golf Course, a rare and highly sought-after setting that offers open green views in an otherwise dense urban environment.

The development is planned on a land parcel of approximately 2.7 acres, and is expected to comprise high-end residential apartments designed to cater to affluent homebuyers seeking exclusivity, connectivity, and lifestyle amenities. Crest Golfshire is positioned as a golf-course-facing luxury project, which enhances its premium appeal and differentiates it from other residential developments in Chembur. The location also benefits from strong connectivity to key areas such as BKC, South Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and major arterial roads and rail networks.

Under the JDA structure, Crest Urban Living will lead the development, marketing, and execution, while Vensco Group contributes land and local expertise. The project is estimated to generate a gross development value (GDV) of around ₹1,850 crore, reflecting the strong demand for upscale housing in central Mumbai. Industry observers view this partnership as strategically important, as it combines Crest Ventures’ financial strength and project management capabilities with Vensco Group’s land ownership and regional experience.

Why Crest Ventures Chembur Project Is Worth Watching

Chembur, a suburb in the Indian city of Mumbai, is just 15km from the downtown. It's closeness to the downtown and Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport just 10km from here makes it a good place to live and an upmarket residential locality preferred by most people. Chembur constituted Agari villages like Ghatla village, Mahul Village, Gavanpada, and Amanda, etc. It once served as a site for refugee camps after partition later on the Bombay housing board along with other township colonies led to its transformation from an industrial dormitory to a residential one.

The harbor line of Mumbai, suburb railway network, has a station in Chembur. Trains for Mumbai CST, Andheri and Panvel run throughout the day. Mumbai monorail also has a terminus at Chembur. Chembur's public transport consists of rapid transit like auto rickshaws, taxis, and BEST buses. Chembur is well connected to roads like Mumbai-Pune Highway, Eastern freeway, and SCCL road. V N Purav Marg, R C Marg, Dayanand Saraswati math and Station Avenue Road are the jugular roads of Chembur. Inorbit Mall, fashion Street and Crawford market are some popular shopping destinations here. From street markets to glitzy shops, Chembur has a rich scattered collection of markets with a boardwalk of irresistible food stalls and restaurants.
