An Overview
Sancoale is a unique village in north Goa known for its rugged landscapes, sandy beaches, traditional houses, and surreal landscapes. Sancoale is the birthplace of famous Buddhist scholar Dharmanand Kosambi. The Kosambi family’s roots hail from Sancoale and is a treasure for Buddhism followers' academic pilgrims. Another famous attraction is a giant church of Nossan Senhora de Saude otherwise called Our Lady of Health.
