An Overview
Bolarum is a neighbourhood in Hyderabad, Telangana, India's Secunderabad Cantonment. It is located in the metropolitan area of Hyderabad. Bolarum and Secunderabad are separated by a 10 kilometre distance. Bolarum is home to Rashtrapati Nilayam, the president of India's official retreat. Planning the police action against the Razakars from Bolarum was done by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Ayyappa Swamy Temple, one of Hyderabad and Secunderabad's oldest temples, is another reason for its fame.
