An Overview
Marine Drive is located in South Mumbai and is a boulevard which extends for a distnace of 3.6 kilometres. This is basically a six lane c-shaped road which is built on a natural bad overlooking the Arabian Sea. The Marine drive links two regions in Mumbai which are Nariman Point and Malabar Hill. Marine Drive is also known as the Queen's necklace because when seen at night, the lights on the road resemble that to pearls on a queen's neck. The official name for this road is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose but this is rarely used.
