Kandivali, previously known as Khandolee is a neighborhood or a locality in the city of Mumbai, formerly known as Mumbai located in the state of Maharashtra in India. Kandivali is located on the north side of Mumbai. The railway station of Kandivali is an extremely busy railway station, and it lies on the Western line of the Mumbai suburban railway. The road connectivity in the district of Kandivali is good, and the transportation frequency is also considered decent. One of the oldest bus stops, the Poisar bus depot is in the western part of the locality of Kandivali, on SV Road. Line 2 and Line 7 of the Mumbai Metro will pass through the district of Kandivali once they start operating.
