Ashiana Housing Chengalpattu -- Pre Launch Project in Chennai

The newly acquired parcel is situated adjacent to Ashiana Vatsalya, the company’s first senior living project in Chennai, enabling Ashiana to create a larger, integrated senior community. The total saleable area is expected to be around 1.5 million sq. ft., and the company has estimated potential sales revenue of nearly ₹1,200 crore from this project once fully developed. According to Ashiana, the development will focus on senior-friendly infrastructure, medical facilities, community engagement areas, and lifestyle amenities that address the needs of senior citizens while promoting active, healthy, and secure living.

Ashiana Housing has already established itself as a leader in the senior living housing sector, with nine projects across India in cities like Jaipur, Bhiwadi, Pune, and Lavasa. The Chennai expansion reflects the growing demand for retirement homes and assisted living communities in urban India, especially in metros with a rising elderly population. Market experts note that Chennai has become a preferred hub for senior housing due to its healthcare ecosystem, cultural appeal, and affordable real estate compared to other metros.
