Coast Road, Chennai

Coast Road is a way which links Chennai city to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. It is also referred to as State Highway 49 by Government of Tamil Nadu. ECR has achieved quite a fame in best known localities of India due to the fact that there are a lot of IT companies operating from this region. The commercial development of ECR has resulted into property builders investing in building residential complexes consisting villas and flats. The locality has several shopping malls and parks in the surrounding region for localites to spend leisure time. The area is connected to other localities of Chennai via MTC and soon metro rail will also be introduced.
