IYYAPPANTHANGAL

Iyyappanthangal Panchayat Village located in the Kundrathur Panchayat Union of the city of Chennai, would have been a remote village had it not been for the the massive six acres bus terminus that was inaugurated in 2011. It currently supports an operational ceiling of 162 busses that reach out to various places like , Tambaram,Koyambedu, Kundrathur, Kovalam, Sunguvachattiram, Red Hills, Sommangalam, Anna Salai,  Parrys Corner, Mint, T Nagar and Tambaram. Without this Terminus perhaps the 1,50,000 commuters would have been hopeless as both the nearest railway stations, Guidi and Avadi are 11km and 12 km away, respectively.
