Kadambattur, Chennai

Kadambathur, often spelt Kadambattur, is a town in the Tamil Nadu district of Tiruvallur. It is a census town in the taluk of Tiruvallur. The town has a population of 11,235 people, according to the 2011 census. The town of Kadambathur is part of the Chennai Metropolitan Area. Kadambathur town is divided into three sections: Kadambathur, Venmanabudhur, and Kasavanalathur. There are 43 settlements in the Kadambathur block. The town is located between Tiruvallur and Arakkonam and is served by the Chennai Suburban Railway Network's Kadambattur railway station. MTC bus no. "538" connects Kadambathur to the city (Vadapalani), and moffusil buses connect it to other neighbourhoods.
