Perubakkam is a suburban neighborhood which in located in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. It is surrounded by Sholinganallur, Chemmencheri, Medavakkam and Sithalapakkam. Perubakkam lies in close proximity to the It corridor which is a fast growing and developing zone and is also close to the Old Mahabalipuram Road. The ELCOT SEZ campus which houses a number of IT companies like HCL, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra is close to Perubakkam. The Velachery Tambaram road connects Perubakkam to Tambaram and the Medavakkam-Sholinganallur connects it to Shollinganallur.
