RAJA ANNAMALAI PURAM

Raja Annamalaipuram is also known as RA Puram is a locality in Chennai and it is named after S. Rm, M, Annamalai Chettiar who was renowned banker and philanthropist. He was a person who owned a lot of property once and Anna Malai Puram was a one of them. This area is extensive and lies on the banks of River Adyar starting from Saidapet to the Bay of Bengal. This is one of the oldest localities and is both a commercial as well as residential locality in Chennai. Over the year it has developed all the more when it comes to infrastructure.
