An Overview
Ramapuram is situated on the Mount Poonamallee Road and falls under the greater Chennai Corporation. It is located very close to Guindy, and forms a taluk in the Thiruvallur district. Ramapuram is famous for the hundred year old Arasamaram Temple and the Lakshmi Narasimha Perumal Temple. The neighbourhood is surrounded by big hospitals, IT offices (L &T Infotech, DLF IT Park etc) and educational institutes. The nearest railway station is Guindy and once can take autos from the Guindy railway station. There are also bus routes that operate in between the neighbouring localities and Ramapuram.
