Vyasarpadi, Chennai

Vyasarpadi is a district of Chennai, India. It is situated in the Chennai district. The area is served by a station, one of the oldest in South India. This was the starting point for the first train to Arcot. The original remains are still used as a cabin room 200 yards apart from the current station. This location serves as a junction, and four train routes branch from here. The Southern line connects to Chennai Central Station. Chennai Beach is served by the Eastern line. The Northern line continues to Korukupet and then to Gudur. The Western line continues to Arakkonam from Perambur.
