DELHI

Delhi is the capital of India. It is a union territory. It is lined on its border by Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Delhi's population is the second highest in the country. Delhi has now expanded over the NCR region. Delhi has been inhabited by migrants since ages. It is also famous for incredible monuments built by the rulers who ruled Delhi in the past. It lies in north India and experienced a sub tropical climate. It consists of nine districts in total. It is governed by five municipal corporations which includes the Delhi cantonment board, New Delhi municipal corporation, south Delhi municipal corporation, north Delhi municipal corporation and east Delhi municipal corporation. The districts in Delhi have now been increased to eleven from nine. Delhi also has the Supreme Court, Delhi high court and various other session courts for jurisdiction. There are three municipal bodies in Delhi exercising their jurisdiction. They are EDMC, SDMC and NDMC. In the north of India Delhi is said to be the largest commercial centre. Industries like banking, tourism, information technology and Tele communication are the few major services that flourish in Delhi. The retail industry is also excellently flourishing in India. This has led to a lot of foreign investment in the country. The Indira Gandhi international airport caters the international and domestic air traffic. The city is serviced by Delhi transportation corporation bus service. Cabs services are also quite popular in Delhi. Other modes of transport like auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws and personal vehicles also ply in Delhi. Delhi's excellent connectivity to major cities and presence of all the civic utilities makes it very popular among real estate developers. Several integrated townships and projects are ongoing or being proposed in the NCR region because of high demand. There is a boom in the commercial as well as residential projects in Delhi over the last few decades. Being a metropolitan city Delhi is eyed by many migrants to settle.
