11 July, 2025 - Peninsula Land, a subsidiary of the Ashok Piramal Group, has just made headlines with a strategic acquisition of 40 acres of prime land in the burgeoning Alibaug–Karjat corridor near Mumbai. This marks the debut deployment from their newly launched real estate arm, backed by a robust ₹765 crore platform in partnership with Alpha Alternatives and Delta Corp.
The breakdown is as follows: 11 acres in Sogaon, Alibaug, and 29 acres in Bhilawale, Karjat. These acquisitions are a clear signal that Peninsula Land is scaling its plotted development operations to meet surging demand for second homes and lifestyle-oriented land investments.
The company plans to position these offerings as premium plotted communities, complete with modern infrastructure, curated amenities, and gated, secure environments tailored for non-resident Indians (NRIs), staycationers, urban families, and investors.
This move places Peninsula Land among other heavyweight developers like Lodha, Oberoi Realty, Hiranandani, Mahindra Lifespaces, and HoABL—all expanding into the Alibaug–Karjat belt.
Sogaon is a serene and picturesque village located in Alibaug, Raigad district, Maharashtra.
