Arvind SmartSpaces announced that it had acquired a residential project in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad — covering roughly 3.6 lakh sq. ft. of saleable area. The project, acquired outright, has a top-line potential of about ₹400 crore. This acquisition marks the company’s 24th project in Gujarat. The site enjoys strong connectivity to metro routes, major business hubs (such as Navratna Business Park and Pinnacle Business Park), and lifestyle and educational amenities — factors that boost its appeal for prospective buyers. According to Arvind SmartSpaces’ leadership, the residential-apartment segment in West Ahmedabad (especially Vastrapur) is considered a promising micro-market; the acquisition thus enhances the company’s presence there. Further, the company indicated that this deal is part of a broader expansion plan — besides Gujarat, they aim to add new projects across Bengaluru and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) before year-end.Market reaction was positive: on announcement day, the share price hit a high of ₹613.Overall, this acquisition underscores Arvind SmartSpaces’ strategy to diversify and expand its residential portfolio, capturing demand in prime micro-markets and driving long-term growth potential.
Vastrapur is a leading and posh area situated in the city of Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat. The prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is located in this area.

Thus locality is convenient for professionals who are working or studying is near IIM. There is also Swaminarayan and Jain temple in the area.
It's good connectivity to airport and railway station, and proximity to all the prime locations has drawn the interest from real estate developers. There's a range of options from premium to affordable housing options in this area.
