An Overview
Mangadu is a neighbourhood of Chennai, India, to the west of the city centre. Mangadu Municipality, which literally means "mango forest," is around 18 kilometres from Chennai Central Railway Station, 14 kilometres from Chennai International Airport, and 13 kilometres from CMBT. Poonamallee and Light House are linked by the projected Chennai Metro Phase 2 Corridor 4. The proposed Kumanamchavadi and Kattupakkam metro stations are around 2 kilometres from Mangadu Bus Terminal.
