Prestige Estates Projects has outlined a major expansion blueprint for Western India with a planned primarily on the MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region) and Pune markets. This move marks one of the company’s strongest pushes outside South India, where it has traditionally dominated. In Mumbai, Prestige is already executing six residential projects covering nearly 9 million sq ft, valued at over ₹27,000 crore in GDV. Over the next two years, it aims to add nearly 15 new projects, including redevelopment schemes, large townships, and premium mid-segment housing developments under its “Homes for All” strategy.
Beyond residential, the company is also scaling up its commercial and office portfolio, with ongoing developments totalling 7.71 million sq ft and three new office projects of 3.1 million sq ft planned. Retail expansion is also in motion, including a 200,000 sq ft lifestyle retail centre that will support its upcoming ₹10,000-crore township in Mulund.
Prestige’s leadership believes Pune offers strong long-term potential due to its IT-driven population and Bengaluru-like buying behaviour. The group is currently evaluating a “substantial and large-scale” project to ensure a strong entry in the market, in addition to a 50-acre land parcel already in the pipeline.
Worli, also known as Warli or Worlee, is a locality in south Mumbai that extends from Haji Ali to Prabhadevi. It is a well-maintained sea facing area. The promenade of Worli gives a wonderful view of the Arabian Sea. The sea face is small, but it's a peaceful version of Marine drive. This place is not favorite of locals as well as visitors.
The nearest railway station to Worli is Mahalakshmi railway station, Prabhadevi and Lower Parel on the western line. The nearest station on the central line is the Byculla railway station. Worli is well connected to other suburbs and through an adequate network of roads. Public transport in Worli involves people by road, trains, and waterways. There are a lot of rapid transit options available to the citizen and travelers in Worli. The transport system is very efficient in Worli. Bus services, taxis, auto rickshaws and ferry services that serve the metropolitan area.
Worli is also a hub to major companies like TATA, GSK Pharma, Siemens, CEAT and HDFC bank. It has always been a busy suburb. Worli has some of the best restaurants and top hotels of Mumbai along with cineplexes, great open spaces, Malls like Atria mall, High street Phoenix mall and some recreational clubs. Apart from that Worli has good hospitals like Nirmala hospital, ESIS hospital, and J.C hospital. The educational institutes include prestigious institutions like Greenlawn School, French international school, Sasmira’s Institute of management and L.S Raheja technical institute.
